Content control & supervision

Most companies are aware of the risks that email poses to their business and its reputation. It is a very instant, individually managed form of written communication and in certain special circumstances a degree of supervision or review should be applied to emails before they enter or leave the business.

Emails that may require supervision include emails to a particularly sensitive and important client, emails to suppliers, emails from new staff that require coaching, or from staff that have handed in notice. Mimecast provides an elegant "hold for review" supervision capability which enables designated reviewers to preview any emails matching their review policy and to determine their delivery. This is a powerful business management feature which in competing systems is far less flexible and requires ongoing IT involvement.
