1. Penetration Testing
Secure Networks offers expert-led, hands-on, mimicked attacks of you’re external, internal and wireless IT infrastructure. It aims to uncover vulnerabilities, which if left, could leave your system open to being compromised by an unethical hacker. We use the most up-to-date vulnerability knowledge and our people-oriented approach to security testing enables our clients to fully understand the process we undertake to uncover vulnerabilities and the business risks they have in their organisation. We have found that this contributes significantly to successfully implementing the recommendations. Our independence ensures that you receive objective results enabling your organisation to obtain the maximum level of security without compromising the efficiency of your system.

2. Awareness Training
We offer a range of support for security awareness training. Secure Networks consultants have many years experience in the security marketplace. We have assisted several clients by training users in security matters ranging from basic security awareness including passwords and viruses, through to detailed training surrounding contingency planning and procedures.

3. Social Engineering
We are experienced in testing the security training and procedures for helpdesk and call centre staff using 'social engineering' techniques. Combined with a security awareness programme this can be used as a measure of how effective the training has been.

4. Security Advisory
Our testing relationships have often evolved into independent advisory services at an earlier stage in the lifecycle. We have participated at the design pioneering, detailed design and product selection stages and identified security measures. We run password strength reviews with associated training sessions. We also advise clients on server and network hardening to minimise risk.

5. Application Security
We have extensive experience of undertaking security testing of web-based applications and products. Our AppScan service is specifically tailored to effective and thorough testing of the security aspects of an application - both functional and non-functional.
